Picking up some conceptual films back to back, Bollywood heroes like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan proved that even after they are labelled as outdated heroes, they could easily bounce back with content-oriented movies. Currently, the two became happening star heroes with lots of following.
One such film of Ajay Devgan is recently released “Raid” which has him playing the role of a sincere Income Tax officer, who conducts raids on some top politician to expose them along with their ill-gotten wealth. Back in October 2019, actually this project was pitched to Nagarjuna Akkineni, but the actor hasn’t taken any decision.
Recently after decided to quite pure commercial masala movies for a while, Nagarjuna is said to have felt that it would be good to do “Raid” remake. And he is okay to act in the lead role if Praveen Sattaru of Garudavega and Guntur Talkies fame will direct it. Currently, discussions are going on and a final decision will be taken very soon, says a source.
Other than this project, Nag will be seen as “Wild Dog”, where he plays the role of an encounter special NIA officer, under newcomer Solomon’s direction.
