Confusion over the release dates of Sankranthi biggies – ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’, is continuing. And the overseas distributors are in panic mode.The biggest loser will be the USA distributor of “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” if the movie advances its release date. There is a valid reason for this.
The overseas distributors had already prepared a ground (theaters, etc) for the massive premiere shows for “Darbar” on 8th, “Sarileru Neekevvaru” on 10th, and “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” on 11th January.If Allu Arjun’s family drama advances its date to 10th January premiere, the movie will be the biggest loser as the major screens had already been allotted to Rajinikanth and Mahesh Babu’s movies.
They are undisputed kings in the USA market. Compared to these stars, Allu Arjun doesn’t have much craze in the USA.Allu Arjun’s film will only get small screens and theaters in faraway places. And if “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” directly competes with Mahesh Babu’s movie on 10th January on the day of premieres the film will not even touch 300k dollars.
Despite brand Trivikram, Allu Arjun’s movie will be losing heavily if it tends to come on 10th or 11th January.This is what the overseas distributor is worrying about.
