Ismart Shankar is a kind of reincarnation to Puri’s film career and the director did not want to waste the craze he earned back with a superhit film, that too after a long time. So he managed to convince the star in form, Vijay Deverakonda for the movie titled Fighter, which he planned to finish in 15 Cr.
Now, it is not the same picture, not the same budget either. As the team started looking for a Bollywood heroine and they are heard to have convinced Boney Kapoor to cast Janhvi Kapoor in their film, budget limit enhanced by few crores. And now the team is looking for a Bollywood music director which might cost them a few more Crores.
The latest we hear is that Vijay Deverakonda is not limiting the release with just Telugu and Hindi versions, but this Fighter is going to be a pan India film, and that obviously requires more crores to enthrall audiences of all languages the film releases in. Reportedly the budget has touched the figure of 35 crores for the now and we need not be astonished if the number going much higher.
With more zeroes in the budget, the films should recover it too, otherwise, it has to end up leaving losses.
