Superstar Mahesh Babu is super confident of his upcoming movie ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and said that fans will definitely see a new Mahesh Babu in the film.
“The other day, I finished the dubbing, I have good vibes about the film and so do the producers,” said Mahesh in a positive tone.
Interacting with the media, Mahesh said, “After ‘Dookudu’ I haven’t done an out and out commercial entertainer and when director Anil Ravipudi narrated the script, I immediately got excited but took a month time to prepare for the role. As I’m playing the role of an army guy, I have to look fit.”
Crediting his team for wrapping up the film in a quick time, Mahesh said, “After ‘Businessman’ this is my fastest film to get completed in short span. The director and the entire team worked tirelessly for 125 days. I did take breaks and rest during this making, but the team is yet to take a break.”
Complimenting director Anil Ravipudi, Mahesh said, “He is a super commercial director and the entertainment factor will be new in Sarileru. That’s the biggest USP. Anil has grown 10 times as director.”
Mahesh said that he felt nostalgic when he saw the Kondareddy Buruju set in Ramoji Film city.
“It was not any sentiment or sort. When director Anil said the film will have Kurnool backdrop, they decided to build a set. Art director Prakash did an amazing work.” Said Mahesh.
On the Sankranthi competition, he replied that he is relieved that the producers guild has sorted it out and every hero wants a solo release but this is the festival season and so everyone wants to take an opportunity.
‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is hitting the cinemas on January 11th.
