Why Did Allu Aravind Opt for Soft launch of Aha?

Allu Aravind has entered into the business of OTT (Over-the-top media service) in association with Telangana business tycoon My Home Rameshwara Rao.

The OTT app is now live. But strangely, Allu Aravind didn’t announce it officially, nor did the brand go for an extensive publicity campaign.

When Amazon and Netflix are sending crores of rupees to gain subscriptions, Allu Aravind chose soft launch. Why?

Currently, they don’t have enough content. They have commissioned many projects with the budget given to various filmmakers to produce web series but they are not of good quality. It will take a while to get enough content. So far the produced content is of lower quality.

They are not going for advertising blitzkrieg till they get the best content. The brand name is ‘Aha” means a Telugu expression of ‘super’ and it also rhymes with the name of Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha.

“Arjun Suravaram”, and two web serials “Kotha Poradu” and “Shit Happens” can be watched on this app now.
