Today, before pronouncing the verdict, the Judge has asked Srinivas Reddy once again if he has got anything to say about the cases. However, he refused to commit the crime and pleaded that he was not guilty of the offences charged against him.

He argued in the last minute that he is booked into these cases out of conspiracy by others and he is not involved. Talking about the crime, a 14-year-old girl was abducted when she was on the way to her school in April 2019. Later, her body was found buried in an abandoned farm well on the outskirts of Hajipur.

For all the cases, Reddy has trapped the girls by offering a lift on his bike. After fast track court set up for the trial of Hajipur case and awarded death penalty to the accused, the locals have celebrated over the news by burning firecrackers.
