Anushka appeared in a guest role for Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa but her last film in lead role was Bhaagamathie released in 2018. But rumors and gossips have been chanting her name even when she had no films for release all these months. Finally, her Nishabdam’s release date is announced, but there seems to be a postponement again!
Anushka stayed away from the media glare for many months post-Bhaagamathie and her weight loss program is said to be the reason then. She started working for a thriller Nishabdam, wherein she played a deaf and dumb woman, directed by Hemanth Madhukar and written by Kona Venkat.
The trailer of the film enthralled all and the makers too announced the release date as April 2nd. But it is heard that there are a lot of corrections suggested by Kona Venkat to director Hemanth Madhukar, which are now being put at work on the editing table. In case, if needed, there will be some scenes to be reshot which are heard to have irritated Anushka.
Anushka is heard to be feeling uncomfortable with producer-writer Kona Venkat’s spot decisions and constant postponement of release dates. If the reports are true, there will be an announcement on a new release date soon.
Madhavan and Anjali are playing other crucial roles in Nishabdam.
