In their 5-year-rule, Telugu Desam Party went old-school fashion in implementing many welfare schemes that people are fed up with all these years and they haven’t encouraged them for the next term.
YSRCP strategically brought new reforms for the all-round development in the state amid huge criticism such as gram volunteers and Village & Ward Sachivalayams which are a sensation and are running successfully. Now, the over-excited Nara Lokesh cited one news article and alleged all the grama volunteers in the state as rapists.
He went to greater proportions and termed them as the brutal ‘Dandupalyam batch’ who committed heinous crimes in the Karnataka region like Rape, extortion, day-light murders. Nara Lokesh has no idea of the after-effects of a statement and the entire Telugu Desam Party is feeling the heat because of his over-aggressive comments that came out of his desperation to criticize the YSRCP.
Now, all the grama volunteers are demanding an apology from Lokesh and his entire party and are threatening to file a police complaint on Lokesh for demeaning them with baseless allegations. This could turn out as a huge row if TDP fails to deal with situation immediately and effectively. However, the leftover reputation of the party has already been damaged because of its working president.
