JC Diwakar Reddy who is a TDP leader and also a businessman is facing tough time since Jagan Mohan Reddy had become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
It was not very long ago when his Diwakar Travels was seized and the business not only went down but had been sued for a ₹100 crores. The Ex-Minister seems to have come under pressure by the trap of Jagan and went against his own party and leader.
Though TDP has a strong hold in Rayalaseema, in the 2019 elections, it could only retain 2 assembly seats there.
While Chandra Babu Naidu was hoping to regain the strength in this area at least through the local body elections, JC Diwakar had shocked Naidu by giving a statement that none from TDP will participate from Tadipatri.
Apart from the local municipality posts, even the ZPTC, MPTC and Sarpanch elections too will not see any TDP contenders in Tadipatri, said JC.
The main reason he said is that, since Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced that if anybody will distribute liquor and money at the time of elections, that local SP will be transferred as well as the candidates will be disqualified.
As JC Diwakar Reddy feels it is hard to win elections like that, he wants to quit from the competition.
