We are talking about Chiru’s and Koratala’s upcoming prestigious project “Acharya”. Yes, you have heard that right. This time, he has no plans to ride horses nor do sword fights, but is doing a period film with 1990’s backdrop. Our sources revealed that the movie Acharya is of social drama genre revolving around temples.
Initially, director approached Charan to cast him in a naxalite leader role, but due to RRR’s unexpected delay and pending shoot for Charan, he is not able to do the role. For some unknown reasons, Koratala Siva changed the character from naxalite leader to student leader and approached Mahesh Babu for the same. We need to wait and see if he gets a nod from Super Star.
Great care is being taken to recreate the 1990’s look and feel for the sets. Shooting is currently taking place in Kokapet, Hyderabad at a very brisk pace and the team will leave to Srikakulam for the final and long schedule in coming months..
