The cases of Corona virus in India has touched 56 with nine people reporting positive on Tuesday. Five cases are reported in Kerala while four cases are from Karnataka. CM BS Yeddyurappa in an official statement confirmed that four cases have been reported in the state and they are taking all measures.
In the wake of Kerala reporting maximum cases, Kerala government has decided to shut down schools and cinema halls till March 31st. This decision was taken after consulting various Malayalam cinema organizations in Kochi.
Amidst the increasing cases, there is a report that a 76 year old from Ladakh has died with Corona virus symptoms. However, the authorities of Ladakh are yet to confirm this. If this death is due to Corona, then it would be the first death in the country.
