The closer elections get, if you are the leader of a political party, the more footfall you expect to see into your party office.
But Nara Chandra Babu Naidu is witnessing a reverse on this. Though he is working hard even in his old age of 70, he is not able to keep up the enthusiasm within the party.
Latest, another MLC is ready to leave the party just ahead of the elections.
TDP’s senior leader and MLC Samantakamani and her daughter, ex-MLA Yamini Bala are set to resign to the TDP Party.
In the next three days this will be made official. They have already discussed this with their followers and are clear about their decision. If this happens, TDP will be losing another senior and strong leadership in Anantapur District.
The main reason seems to be the mother and daughter’s dissatisfaction with the party’s top management.
When they have not attended to the recent Assembly sessions, the talk of them keeping distance with the party grew stronger. They have not been active in any events either in their own constituency.
