Amidst the agitations from Amaravathi farmers and the TDP, YSRC decided to start the rule from Vizag from 6th April, which is an auspicious date. The AP Government will start operations from the designated office locations in Vizag from April.
In the state budget plans which will begin from March 28th, YSRC decided to include several projects for smooth running of the government in Vizag region. While the people of Vizag were happy with the raising prices of the land, a set of tax payers were not that happy with the government moving already established investments from Amaravathi to another region.
This attempt can be considered as an experimentation and the results could either boost the state of Andhra Pradesh or pull it back by several years in development. Even though the capital city movement plan is a part of the political war and dominance between YSRC and TDP, the people of the state will be impacted.
