By the time we realized the gravity of the situation, the deadly virus has already visited our cities. The lockdown has started at a right time but by today there are already 500+ cases in India.
With the carelessness of the Italian government, it has already lost 6,000 lives and more are in critical condition. So with the carelessness in India, how worse will the condition get is worrying the government.
Yesterday the Indian Medical Council Research has announced the number of new cases and deaths in India. If the Government protection is there, it estimated that in the coming 200 days, Delhi might have 10 lakh of cases, and cities like Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will be having at least 5 lakhs of it.
But if in any case the Government of India gives up and says it can do nothing about the control of virus, then the estimated cases in Delhi in the next 50 days would be around 1 crore and 40 lakhs in Mumbai.
But what is the plan of the Government of India is not yet known until any further announcement from Prime Minister Modi.
