Newborns In Kadapa Named As ‘Corona Kumar, Corona Kumari’

When the whole of the world is shaking from the roots due to the onset of a strain of coronavirus, which is named COVID-19, it looks like few Indians are taking the virus in pride. Knownligy or unknowingly, few people have named their just borns as Corona Kumar and Corona Kumari.

A pregnant lady from Kadapa’s Tallapali village, Sasikala got operated by a doctor at a private hospital in Kadapa and delivered a baby boy. Later at the same hospital, one Ramadevi from Allireddypalli village delivered a baby girl. According to Dr Basha who has operated on both, the parents of the boy and girl are joyous that even during tough coronavirus times their kids are born in thick of health, and that’s why they named them as, Corona Kumar and Corona Kumari.

But down the lane, if COVID-19 gets controlled and the society resumes its normal life, the kids might face hell lot of societal problems as people might tease them. Many experts say that naming kids with deadly things will only increase stress on them because society throws in a lot of jokes on them.
