While Prabhas had been trying to quickly wrap up the shooting of his untitled film under Radhakrishna, his other film, under director Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame, was supposed to go on the floors soon.
Now, with Covid-19 playing spoilsport with schedules, the filmmakers seem to feel that the shooting may commence towards the end of the year.
Even if things work out that way, the sci-fi drama will be released only in 2022.
“With lavish sets to be erected apart from quality large scale production, it is certain that the film will be released in 2022,” says a source, adding that Nag Ashwin is giving final touches to the script.
“Ashwin is making sure that the script will be worth the wait, and will live up to the expectations of Prabhas’ fans,” adds the source.
Rebel star fans now has to await till 2022 to see him going on screens with a hit.
