Just after a few hours after RGV’s announcenent of Murder, based on the story of Amurtha and Maruthi Rao, a long condemning statement was circulated in the name of Amrutha.
A large section of media has believed that the statement is truly from Amrutha and published widely.
Surprisingly Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy have also covered the statement with Amrutha’s photograph in the main page of the main edition without confirming the fact.
Later, as Balaswamy, the father in law of Amrutha came out to clarify that Amrutha didn’t react to RGV’s film so far. Eenadu understood the mistake and published a small piece stating that it is untrue.
The fact is this fake letter was written by a guy named Praneeth Yaron and he confessed the same on twitter as a reply to RGV.
When RGV tweeted “Whether Amrutha wrote it or some jobless over enthusiast wrote it , I felt obligated to respond to it to clarify the concerns in the minds of whoever is needlessly concerned about what I will show in MURDER”,
….as a reply to this Praneeth Yaron texted, “I am a film maker. A responsible film maker. Google my name to know more about me. And my job is to address your psyche and people like you in the society, mostly your target audience. Thanks for narrowing down perverts in such a huge population”.
Natti Karuna and Natti Kranthi are producing this film Murder while Anand Chandra is directing it in the supervision of RGV.
Shrikanth Iyyangar is playing the role of Maruthi Rao.
