It is known that controversial director Ram Gopal Varma announced a film titled ‘Murder’. The film is based on the honour killing of a 23-yeard-old Pranay which took place in Miryalaguda, Nalgonda.
Today, Pranay’s father Balaswamy filed a police case on Ram Gopal Varma, and Natti Karuna who are directing and producing ‘Murder’ respectively.
Balaswamy had approached the court in protest against the makers of ‘Murder’ and they were advised to lodge a police complaint, which they did.
Varma already announced the actors who will be playing lead roles in the film. He was supposed to start working on the film soon but will have to change his plans now.
Natti Kumar, who is associated with the film said he will be coordinating with concerned parties and sort out the issue at the earliest.
RGV faces situations like this more often than not. It remains to be seen how he will handle these latest developments.
Amrutha, the wife of Pranay stated she will not be commenting about the film.
