Pawan Kalyan will be making his comeback with ‘Vakeel Saab’ in which he will be seen as a lawyer who fights for womens rights and welfare. This is a social drama that is largely based on the current stigmas and underlying problems in the society.
Pawan had also signed a periodic drama that is being produced by AM Ratnam. Krish Jagarlamudi is directing this Robin Hood-esque periodical.
It is said that Pawan will be playing the role of Telangana based insurgent, Pandugala Sayanna, who used to loot money from the rich and give it to the poor and needy. The film is set in the 19th century.
As per latest updates, Krish met with Pandugala Sayanna’s family and friends who reside in Mahaboobnagar. The purpose of this meeting is to get to know more about Sayanna and his legendary tales.
Pawan is showing special interest in this film as he is fond of the subject and the backstory behind it. As a result, Krish is putting in more efforts to make sure it ticks all the right boxes.
The makers have erected special sets in Hyderabad for shooting purpose and it is still unclear when the shoot will be resumed.
Interestingly enough, Chiranjeevi previously acted in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is based on the life story of Andhra Pradesh based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Now, Pawan is working on a film which visualizes the journey of Telangana based revolutionary, Pandugala Sayanna.
