Vamsi Paidipally’s directorial ‘Maharshi’ minted big bucks at the box office and stood as the biggest hit in Mahesh Babu’s career prior to the release of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’. Impressed with the tremendous success of ‘Maharshi’, Mahesh asked Vamsi to come up with another story and the latter did so. However, Mahesh felt the story might not be a commercially viable one and turned it down.
Ever since, Vamsi has been approaching the top stars in the Telugu film industry. The latest update is that Vamsi has finally gotten the green signal from Ram Charan, who is working on RRR for now.
Apparently, Ram Charan is impressed with the storyline that was narrated by Vamsi Paidipally and asked him to come up with the final draft. Elated with Charan’s interest, Vamsi called on his team of writers and is working on the script. He will be giving another narration to Charan soon.
Charan is open to work with any capable director next if he likes the story. He is yet to sign a project post RRR and will be taking the final call on this very soon.
Charan and Vamsi Paidipally previously worked together for ‘Evadu’, which also had Allu Arjun in a brief role.
