Confidential: Naidu in PM race!

TDP Supremo and NDA’s prinicpally N.Chandrababu Naidu is in race for Prime Minister post. Yes, what you heard is right. Chandra Babu Naidu is considered as ‘Standby PM’ for NDA. The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister is being considered as PM candidate in case BJP failed to rake in 200 parliament seats on its own, confide sources close to the development. Going by reports, BJP and NDA have already chalked out their Plan B- to elevate Naidu to top post for time being only if they couldn’t garner majority in parliament under Narendra Modi! In order to woo the leaders of third front like Jayalalithaa, CPM, Janata Dal (U), Chandra Babu Naidu’s name would be popped for PM’s post. TDP leaders too admit that along with locking up an alliance with BJP, they confirmed that Naidu play pivotal role in NDA.

‘Many things are being worked out. One need not surprise, even if Naidu becomes PM depending on post-poll coalition,’ commented a top BJP leader on anonymity. He said that their top agenda is to dethrone the incumbent Congress. Meanwhile, the buzz is that Naidu is in constant touch with bigwigs like LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Venkaiaha Naidu. His meeting with LK Advani and Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday separately in Delhi added fuel to these speculations.

Interesting developments within NDA and BJP too fetching Chandra Babu Naidu. Anti-Modi camps in the NDA are projecting Naidu as their clean candidate. Also, top brass of BJP hope that Naidu will rope in coalition partners. BJP is confident on Babu that he could emerge as the single largest party in Seemandhra by winning 25 Parliament seats in the region. Although BJP is heading to polls by naming Modi as its PM candidate, Chandra Babu Naidu naming PM after polls cannot be ruled out. These latest developments are raising many eye brows.
