As we know, the central government is easing the restrictions in the country in a phased manner to restore the economy. The current Unlock 2.0 expires on the 31st of this month. With this, the government is working on the Unlock 3.0 guidelines.As per the information from the sources, further relaxations will be announced in Unlock 3.0, which will be effective from August 1. Credible sources said that cinema halls and gyms will be allowed to reopen in this phase with proper safety precautions.
Relevant sources said that film theatres will be facilitated to reopen with specific guidelines with strict rules like physical distance and 25% occupancy in the theatre.
The Information and Broadcasting ministry put a proposal to the Home Ministry allow cinema theatres from August. However, the central government said that states could issue their own guidelines depending on the severity of Covid cases. So, we’ve to wait to know what decision does the government takes on this.
