As the number of coronavirus cases crossed 13 lakh mark in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding a virtual meeting with chief ministers of all the states on July 27, Monday to discuss the pandemic situation in the country.
Nearly 50,000 cases are being reported each day. Experts say the spread of the virus will increase further by September. Considering the situations, PM Narendra Modi is likely to discuss with the Chief Ministers on what strategies should be followed to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission. Modi will also seek the views of the CMs on what action can be taken to control the virus without affecting the economy.
Along with Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Harshavardhan will also attend this meeting. Unlock 2.0 will end by the end of this month. So, discussions on Unlock 3.0 will happen.
