Telangana government censures centre for disregarding the water sharing dispute

A brain storming session occurred based on the letter written by Central Water Resources Ministry (CWRM) Secretary Sri MP Singh insisting the state government to convoke the Water Resources Ministry Apex Council meeting on Aug 5 to resolve the conflicts between the Telangana State and AP regarding the utilisation of water. Water Resources Department experts, advisors and officials among others were present in the meeting.

Telangana government slammed the Centre for failing to resolve the water dispute for rightful share of Krishna and Godavari rivers between the two Telugu states. They censured how Central Water Resources ministry disregarded there constant appeals. However, CMO stated that the final decision to resolve is to be handed over to the tribunal.
