Abhishek Bachchan has confirmed that his father Amitabh Bachchan has tested negative for coronavirus. Amitabh has been discharged from Nanavati hospital a short while ago and he is presently in home quarantine.
Abhishek went on to say that he is still in the Covid-19 treatment center as he tested positive again due to some comorbidities.
“My father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him,” he tweeted.
Tweeting about his medical condition Abhishek said: IUnfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise.”
A few days back, Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya tested negative for Covid-19 and were discharged from the hospital. Today, Amitabh tested negative and was discharged consequently. However, Abhishek remains in hospital for now.
