Jayaprakash Narayan has opened up on the issues happening in Andhra Pradesh in an ABN channel debate.
He has openly praised the bold decisions taken by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as well.
Talking about the involvement of courts in the government decisions he said, “Courts should do their duty and the governments should perform their duties of governance. But these days they are getting shuffled.
It is ok to condemn government’s decisions. But the citizens cannot expect the courts to be involved in the policy matters of the government.
The government is elected by the majority of citizens, so the judicial system cannot hinder its decisions. It does not matter where the capital is located. It is the decentralization that should happen”.
Talking about the electricity meters he said, “Something good is happening now. Even with YSR I have argued those days regarding the free electricity scheme.
I had emphasized on the fixing of meters to know how much electricity is consumed and where actually it is used.
I suggested doing an energy audit for the optimum utilization of resources. Now I appreciate the Jagan government’s decision in this matter”.
