The latest update is that young Malayali actress Anu Emmanuel has joined the lead cast of Maha Samudram. She will be playing a key role in the film.

The young actress is making a comeback to Tollywood with Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Alludu Adhurs. She will join the sets of Maha Samudram after wrapping up Bellamkonda Srinivas’s film.
The regular shoot of Maha Samudram will be kick-started at the end of this year. The movie unit is aiming to wrap up the shoot in a quick time frame and is planning the schedules accordingly.
Billed to be an intense drama, this film has Ajay Bhupathi at the helm. AK Entertainments will be bankrolling the project.
