Having made her debut in 2009 with a Kannada film ‘Gilli’, actress Rakul Preet Singh has emerged as a big star in India. In her film career over a decade, the Current Theega actress has featured in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages and bagged a lot of fan following for her strong acting skills and sultry looks.
The star beauty has now recalled the first day she faced the camera for the first time as an actress. She was doing her degree in Delhi when she got a Kannada movie offer. Till then, she did not even know there was an industry in the South. She reached the location only a day before the shooting. There were no rehearsals. There she faced the camera and did her first shot with perfection. She was 18 then.
Rakul has also revealed that she missed some Bollywood opportunities due to Tollywood. With the series of offers from Tollywood, she became fixated on Tollywood. The 30-year-old actress indirectly felt that if she had made her film debut with a Hindi film, she would have got more opportunities from Bollywood. However, she is quite happy with the love from the Telugu audience.
