CM Jagan to visit Eluru tomorrow..! What exactly happened there?

The people of Eluru, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, have been in a panic state since yesterday. Some strange symptoms are appearing among the people. The warning is that the people should not drink the municipality water.

In Eluru, three people fell ill on Friday night and tens of people fell ill on Saturday, causing panic among the people there. More than 100 people fell ill on Saturday night. Of these, 22 were children, 40 were women and 33 were men, as per medical officials. Of course, the number of victims is steadily increasing.

On the other side, the news is out that CM YS Jagan will visit the sick in Eluru tomorrow. The CM will leave Thadepalli at 9:30 am tomorrow. The victims will be consoled and visted at Eluru Government Hospital at 10:20 am. Later he will meet with the local district council officials in the conference hall. The Chief Minister spoke to state Medical Health Minister Allan Nani this morning after learning that many people in Eluru had fallen ill.

The municipality people said that the water was contaminated and that those who drank it fell ill. This has been the news that was circulated on the social media This messages are also being forwarded on WhatsApp. Doctors said some of the victims came to the hospital with epileptic symptoms and others in a state of unconsciousness. Many also run to the hospital with nausea and mental anxiety.

The most agonising fact is that the AP governmnet is yet to issue a statement on this issue and explain people the reasons behind the illness of tens of people. This is just alarming and maay are panicking even to drink water in the town. Many peolpe say this is shameful from the governmnet who are yet to issue a statement on this tragic incident.
