Telangana Rashtra Samithi Chief, and the Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR, has left for the national capital, Delhi today, to meet with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. This meeting was not scheduled well on advance, and came upon all of a sudden.
Sources reveal that KCR was instantly given an appointment by the Prime Minister, which was shocking, given that the PM denied KCR’s request for appointment several times in the past.
The BJP has just started to strengthen its hold in Telangana, with its win in Dubbaka, and its improvement in the GHMC elections. The TRS too is not refraining from attacking the BJP, which is why everyone is surprised at the fact that KCR has now planned to visit the PM. KCR is expected to discuss about the dues the center still owes to the state, in this meeting.
KCR is also expected to stay in Delhi for 4 days, and return by Sunday. During this visit, KCR is expected to meet with Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Harideep Singh Puri. He is also very likely to visit the site allocated by the Central government for setting up the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party office in New Delhi.
Apart from that, KCR is also expected to meet with Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Nitin Gadkari. It is now to be seen what the result of this meeting with the PM will be, for KCR, and for the state of Telangana.
