Telugu Desam Party(TDP) supremo and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu in his recent zoom meeting with the party cadre and encouraged them to file criminal cases against the police which is not expected from a leader of his experience.
The suggestions from the TDP boss created a sensation. The national media has also found fault with Babu’s comments and wondered how come he can provocate the party cadre.
Now, the Andhra Pradesh Police Officers’ Association (APPOA) members reacted to Chandrababu’s statements and accused him of encouraging the cadre to misuse the legal provisions.
The honorary President of the AP Police Officers Association Narreddi Chandrasekhar Reddy addressed the media over the issue and raised objections to Chandrababu’s outburst.
He went on to say that, they cannot believe that a person who served the state as the Chief Minister three times can behave in a way.
It is a shock for us to know about Chandrababu’s outburst on the state police when we have won awards at the national level for the service we offer for the public in the state.
He added that Chandrababu Naidu forget one thing that those who encourage crime will be considered criminals.
