Earlier, we had reported that Netflix had called off the production of Baahubali: Before the beginning web series as they were not satisfied with the output. The digital streaming giant is now planning to shoot the web series from scratch and is acting accordingly.
Apparently, Rajamouli will be supervising the production of this web series from now on. Even Arka Media will be involved in the making process.
Bollywood television director, Vishwesh Kroshnamoorthy who previously directed the critically acclaimed ’99 Songs’ movie will be at the helm for Baahubali: Before the beginning web series.
Vishwesh reportedly came up with a comprehensive final draft which impressed Netflix and the man behind the epic, Rajamouli himself. He will be directing this prestigious project now.
This web series will be hitting the floors soon and Netflix is planning to bankroll it on a huge scale. Many top-tier technicians and artists will be roped in for the project.
