For a long time now, rumors of KT Rama Rao being the next Chief Minister of the state of Telangana have been doing rounds. KCR had even clearly mentioned his wish of making KTR the next CM, the very first time that KCR had become the CM of Telangana. KTR has been closely involved in every single activity of the TRS party ever since it came to power, as per KCR’s directions, so that KTR could easily function when he becomes the CM.
According to the latest reports, Minister Harish Rao is being rumored to be the next Working President of the TRS, when KTR becomes the Chief Minister. KTR is the current Working President of TRS, along with being the IT Minister for the state.
Harish Rao has a massive following in the state, and he also has years of political experience, which would make him the right fit for being the Working President. CM KCR is said to have taken this decision personally, as there are chances that KCR might step down as the CM by March end, which is when KTR will be announced as the Chief Minister. It is already known that KCR’s health has not been that good for some time now, because of which he hasn’t made many public appearances in the last few months.
Along with Harish Rao, Minister Eatala Rajender is also rumored to be another Working President of the TRS, so that there would be no opposition to KTR being the CM from Harish Rao’s followers. KCR’s daughter Kavitha is also expected to be given a key role in the party, after KTR becomes the CM, so that there would be a proper balance of power in the party.
While all of these speculations are going on, it is to be seen what will come to be true only by the end of March.
