Yesterday, we had exclusively reported that Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s Lucifer remake will be officially launched on 21st January.
Now, we have another update on the project and this is an interesting one as well.
Reportedly, star actress Nayanthara has been roped in for a key role in Lucifer remake.
Nayanthara will be reprising the role played by Manju Warrier in the original. She has apparently signed the dotted line already.
The makers were initially in talks with Vijayashanthi, Ramya Krishna, and Nadiya for this role but they finally zeroed in on Nayanthara.
Nayanthara’s character has a whole lot of prominence in the story and the makers felt that the senior actress has the right persona to carry the role.
It is said that the shooting of Lucifer remake will commence from March.
