Key Takeaways from Narendra Modi’s address on vaccine drive launch

Keeping an end to longtime waiting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the vaccination drive in the country, which is dubbed as the world’s largest vaccination program against the pandemic.

In the first phase of the vaccination drive, nearly three crore healthcare and frontline workers will be vaccinated across the country. The Centre will bear the cost of the vaccination for the Corona warriors.

While launching the massive drive via video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen.

The Prime Minister congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of the vaccine drive and urged people to not stop following the Covid-19 protocols like wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing.

We have set an example to the world on many occasions in the fight against Corona. When countries left their nationals in China with pandemic, fear, India evacuated Indians, along with other citizens under the Vande Bharat mission, Modi said.

He said, over the course of one year period, we have learned many things as a person, a family, and as a nation

Narendra Modi said, to 3 crore people will be vaccinated against the Coronavirus in the first phase, and in the second phase, the beneficiaries count will be raised to 30 crores.

Usually, it takes several years to manufacture a vaccine against any pandemic. But we made two Made in India’ vaccines ready for the vaccination drive that too in a short period.
