Days after making sensational comments on portraying the demon king Raavan in a ‘humane’ manner in the upcoming epic, Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan landed in another unwanted controversy.
This time, not his comments, but the web series he has starred in attracted controversy for hurting the sentiments of Hindus reportedly by showing Hindu beliefs in a wrong way.
Several netizens are in the opinion that Saif Ali Khan starrer mocked Hindu Gods and Goddess. Some particular scenes did not go well with the netizens and they called for a ban on web series.
Netizens demanded the ban on the web series and even started trending the hashtag #BanTandavNow. The hashtag received thousands of tweets under the hashtag.
Adding more troubles, several politicians, mainly from the saffron party BJP raised several objections over the web series and demanded that the series should be banned and the actors should be arrested.
