Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’ ‘Viswaroopam’ movie Telugu version release had met the same fate as Tamil version. The movie is postponed in Hyderabad to tomorrow in the wake of Milad-un Nabi festival that coincides with Friday. City police commissioner Anurag Sharma has prohibited screening of the movie in Hyderabad for today only. However, it is learnt that Commissioner has allowed for the screening of the film in high end theaters like Multiplexes in the city. Viswaroopam film will release all over the state today, besides the Hindi version all over the world.
It is known to our readers that Tamil Nadu Government had banned the movie for 15 days after objections from some Islamic groups. Later, Kamal Hassan appealed against the order in courts, Madras High Court deferred the release till 28th. With all these problems, Kamal Hassan is due for huge losses.
