Peddireddy gets relief from High Court, but with conditions

Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is probably the only person from the YSRCP who is continuously making crude and absurd remarks against the State Election Commissioner, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, even after the rest of the party members have refrained from doing so, after the election code of conduct was released. Peddireddy even went on to violate the House Arrest that he was put under, on the behest of the SEC‘s orders. Peddireddy had opely said that no one would follow the SEC’s orders.

Peddireddy even moved the High Court with respect to his House Arrest, and the verdict of the same has been given today. The HC relieved Peddireddy from his House Arrest, under which he was supposed to be, until February 21st. However, that is the only factor that he’s gotten a relief from, as the HC said that Peddireddy is to refrain from taking any part in the upcoming local elections, and from talking to the media as well, as per the SEC’s orders.

Peddireddy did not just stop at calling Nimmagadda several names, including comparing the SEC to a dog, he even went on to threaten to put the SEC behind the bars, and threatened several officials about being black listed, after March 31st, if they were to follow the SEC’s orders. This was the reason behind the SEC ordering house arrest for Peddireddy.

The SEC has written a letter to the Union Home Secretary, detailing the miscreant behavior that Peddireddy has been up to, and has even requested the Secretary to take due action against Peddireddy in the same regards.
