Kannada super hit romantic drama ‘Dia‘, directed by KS Ashoka, is one of the critically acclaimed films of 2020. The film hit the big screens in February 2020. But at a time when Dia was having a good run at the box officer, there came the pandemic, and therefore it had been pulled out of theatres.
Now, the film is all set to woo the Telugu audience as it is being dubbed and gearing up to release. The latest update is that Telugu version of Dia came out very well and it attracted many distributors and OTT buyers.
The makers of Telugu version had initially planned to release the flick on a digital streaming platform. But with the overwhelming response from the audience ever since the theatres reopened, the makers are said to be planning to release ‘Dia’ on the film screens. They are confident that the film will attract the audience on a big scale. Meanwhile, the OTT platforms are also offering a good price to bag the film.
Dia starred three newcomers, Kushee Ravi, Pruthvi Ambaar and Dheekshith Shetty in lead roles.
