Janasena party leader Pawan Kalyan has accused the ruling party of showing hypocritical love for the Visakhapatnam steel plant, which was the result of sacrifices of many people, and for playing dramas for votes in the municipal elections.
Speaking on this occasion, he asked YCP leaders to sincerely oppose the privatization of the steel plant. However, he said that the Visakhapatnam steel plant is a pride of Andhra Pradesh and that is the reason why he went to Delhi. He reminded that the families of the farmers who have given their lands on that day for the establishment of the steel plant are still fighting for compensation.
Pawan Kalyan said that during his visit to Delhi, he explained the sacrifices of the people made in the steel movement back then, to Amit Shah. Taking all these factors into consideration, Pawan Kalyan said the petition was submitted to look into the Vizag steel plant with a special focus.
