Why is Kalwakuntla Kavitha chanting ‘Jai Sriram’ and ‘Jai Hanuman’ these days? She is visiting the Kondagattu Hanuman temple on a regular basis and has announced that she would soon organize a Hanuman Chalisa chanting for 40 days starting from March 17 across the state.
Not just that. She is also organizing a Ramakoti stupam at Kondagattu. One wonders why Kavitha is turning into a Hindu icon. Why is she organizing these chantings of Hanuman Chalisa? Sources say Kavitha is trying to position herself as a soft Hindu icon for 2023 by organizing such programmes. She will popularize Hanuman Chalisa in the state and will promote the chant of ‘Jai Sriram’ and ‘Jai Hanuman.’ Insiders in the TRS say that Kavitha is planning to project a soft Hindutwa image for herself and her party in the coming elections.
Also, she is said to have chosen Kondagattu temple as KCR had earned a bad name for not calling on those who were injured in the ghastly accident at Kondagattu sometime ago. By organizing this programme, she will try to erase the bad name. So, clearly, Kavitha has political aims behind chanting Ram Naam. She feels this can help her father tide over the BJP challenge in 2023.
