As a new development, the Supreme Court has dismissed the allegations of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy against Justice NV Ramana. The same was confirmed in an official statement.

In a statement, the Supreme Court said that the matter was internally investigated by the judges and thus the allegations were dismissed. The matters related to the In-House Procedure are confidential and can’t be disclosed to the public.

“A complaint dated 6th October 2020 sent by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to the Supreme Court was dealt with under the In-House Procedure and the same, on due consideration, stands dismissed,” the statement reads.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has written to CJI against Justice NV Ramana alleging that he was working for the TDP and against the Andhra Pradesh. Giving the example of his orders to speed up the process of cases faced by his party leaders, he sought an inquiry against him. Jagan’s letter became public later.
