The BJP party had fielded retired IAS officer K Ratna Prabha as the alliance candidate for the upcoming Tirupati by-poll. The by-poll for the temple city is slated to commence on April 17.
Clearing all the airs on disputes between BJP and Janasena, Pawan Kalyan agreed to take part in the campaign activities finally.
Several media outlets in the state have quoted former Assembly speaker, chairman of the Janasena political affairs committee, Nadendla Manohar as saying, Jana Sena chief will campaign for Ratna Prabha.
Pawan Kalyan would plan a tour in Tirupati on the 3rd of April and he will campaign for Ratna Prabha. The campaign rally would be from M R Palli Circle to Sankarambadi Circle in Tirupati, followed by a public meeting.
Nadendla has also maintained that in the second phase of the campaign program, Pawan Kalyan is likely to tour in Nellore. However, the date for the tour has not been fixed and the date will be announced soon, he said.
Pawan taking an active part in the campaign activities is very crucial for BJP in the upcoming elections. Pawan is a crowd puller and the voters from the Kapu caste might also play a key role in the polls.
The BJP wants to bank on Pawan leading the campaign for the alliance. If Pawan joins the campaign, then there would be no issues between the two parties. To see that Jana Sena activists won’t keep their distance from the election campaign, BJP leaders are projecting Pawan Kalyan as the CM face for the next elections. Let us wait and see how it would help the BJP.
