GVL Narasimha Rao also confirms Pawan Kalyan as CM candidate

With Bharatiya Janata Party confirming Pawan Kalyan as its Chief Ministerial candidate, the politics in Andhra Pradesh have heated up suddenly. Ahead of the Tirupati by-election, BJP AP State president Somu Veerraju’s announcement has boosted the confidence of Janasena leaders and activists.

Veerraju’s remark comes in the wake of news that the Pawan Kalyan’s party is not giving its full support to the BJP in the run-up to the bypoll.

Now, GVL Narasimha Rao, the national spokesperson of the BJP, has also confirmed that Pawan Kalyan will be their Chief Ministerial candidate in the upcoming Assembly elections of AP.

However, JSP leaders hoped they would get the ticket for the bypoll but are reportedly disappointed over BJP’s decision. This announcement from BJP has surely raised their confidence in the alliance to some extent.

On the other hand, the BJP has intensified its campaign in Tirupati. They are holding meetings with educated people and intellectuals. The campaign is going on that if Ratna Prabha wins, she will be included in Union Cabinet.

The Janasena party jumped into the campaign on behalf of Ratna Prabha. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is all set to conduct a roadshow in Tirupati next week to support the candidate.
