As expected, Suresh Babu has suggested some changes to Narappa which stars Venkatesh and Priyamani in important roles. He interacted with the director Srikanth Addala very recently and listed the changes that are to be made to the final cut.
Suresh Babu has called for reshoots and the scenes he is not fully satisfied with will be shot again now.
Venkatesh wrapped up Drishyam 2 recently and he is ready to shoot for Narappa now. Suresh Babu will be personally monitoring the reshoots.
On a related note, the senior producer has taken an interesting decision on Drishyam 2 as well. He wants to give the film a direct-to-OTT release.
Given the current situation pertaining to Covid, it is nearly impossible to estimate the footfalls at theatres. So, releasing films in theatres now is proving to be a risky affair.
Consequently, Suresh Babu wants to release Drishyam 2 directly on OTT. The film might well release ahead of Narappa. The final call will be taken soon.
