YS Sharmila, who has been targeting the KCR government on various issues, sat for a one-day Deeksha with a demand to issue a job notification to fill over one lakh jobs in various departments in the government.
After staging a one-day Deeksha, YS Sharmila’s office was closed and an official statement was released stating that the Riley protests have been postponed until further notice.
It is said that Sharmila took the sensational decision as a precautionary measure after a few leaders and party activists have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
As a responsible leader, I have taken the decision to postpone the Deeksha to demand the government to release job notification taking the health of the workers and supporters into consideration, Sharmila said.
Adding further, Sharmila said the Riley protests were postponed temporarily and she is focused to fight for the jobs and welfare of the people in Telangana.
