Ruia incident: AP High court issues notices to Union and state governments

Another petition has been filed in the AP high court over the Tirupati Ruia Hospital incident, which occurred on the 8th of this month. TDP leader PR Mohan has filed a petition alleging that the govt was saying only 11 people were died in the hospital, instead of 36 people.

Advocate Yalamanjula Balaji heard the arguments. PR Mohan told the court that he had lodged a complaint with the police about the incident but the FIR had not been registered. Petitioner’s counsel asked the court to register a case against the culprits. PR Mohan demanded an inquest into the incident.

In response, the bench issued notices to the Tirupati SP as well as the Central and state governments. It is learned that the trial court has issued notices to the govt.
