After a brief gap, Shruti Hassan gave a perfect comeback to Tollywood with Ravi Teja’s ‘Krack’. The action thriller was a big hit and Shruti got a decent role in it. She showed her glamorous side along with her fighting skills in that film. After that, she was seen in ‘Pitta Kathalu’ which came out on Netflix and she even did a cameo as Pawan’s wife in ‘Vakeel Saab’.
The Chennai beauty is currently working on pan-Indian project ‘Salaar’. The shooting came to a halt due to the second wave but it is expected to resume in a couple of weeks. It is the first time that Shruti Hassan will be seen sharing screen space with Prabhas. When Shruti was busy in Tollywood a few years back, Prabhas was completely involved in ‘Baahubali’ which is why they didn’t work earlier.
Now that they started working together, people are asking about the experience of working with the ‘Mirchi’ hero. In a recent interaction, she revealed, “I have only shot for a small portion till now. Prabhas is a humble person who carries a lot of positivity and so does the director Prashanth Neel. It has been a great feeling to be a part of Salaar.”
Produced by Homebale Films, ‘Salaar’ is a pan-Indian project which was supposed to get released on 14th April 2022 but it may not happen due to the unexpected delay.
