Syed Sohel Ryan, who has made a name for himself as an actor in various TV series and movies, has gained a huge fanbase through Bigg Boss Season-4. Earlier, of the Rs 25 lakh he received as a gift from Big Boss, Rs 10 lakh was donated to orphanages. He founded “Sohi Helping Hands” and had been running various social service programs.
He showed his generosity by providing essential goods as well as financial assistance to poor people during difficult times amid covid pandemic. In this recognition, Sohel was honored with the Rising Star Award on Sunday under the auspices of the Bharat Arts Academy, ABC Foundation in recognition of his services to the community.
Speaking on the occasion Sohel said “In addition to the satisfaction of having gained so many fans as an actor, I have found so much joy in contributing some of what I have earned till date through Sohi Helping Hands, which I founded, for community service”.
President of the Academy of Arts of India Lion Lalitharao, Lion K. V Ramana rao, ABC Foundation’s president, chairman of Annamacharya arts academy Abhishek among others attended the event.
