Harish Rao’s prolonged stay in Huzurabad is fast turning out to be a major problem for Eatala Rajender. He is now trying wean away Eatala supporters one by one. If his attempts go as per the plan, then Eatala would soon be left with no supporters. While he may still conduct a high voltage campaign, his supporters would slip one by one and land into the TRS lap.
One of Eatala’s diehard supporter and long-time loyalist Tummeti Rammi Reddy has now joined the TRS camp. Sammi Reddy’s exit is said to have shocked Eatala. He is now said to be in a defensive mode and is trying to keep his flock from being pouched. Several other Eatala loyalists too are gone incommunicado. They are not available to anyone. Sources say that they are in touch with Harish and might soon announce their switch over from Eatala camp. Sources say that Minister Koppula Eswar too is holding several meetings with Eatala’s supporters.
If things go as per the plan, by the time the election notification is issued, Eatala would be left friendless. To add to his problems, there is a tussle going on between old-time BjP workers and the new entrants. There are said to be frictions and Eatala is busy trying to reduce the friction between the two groups. Meanwhile, Harish and others are trying to poach as many leaders as possible.
